Privacy Policy

Snoka is built local-first, and this policy is short because of it: the product is designed so that we cannot see your data.

Your Google Workspace data

Scans run entirely on the machine where you installed Snoka, using Google's APIs with credentials you control. Findings, reports, history and logs are stored on that machine. None of it is transmitted to us — we operate no backend that receives tenant data.

What we do process

Purchases: checkout is handled by Polar as merchant of record. They process your name, email, and payment details under their privacy policy; we receive your email address and order details, which we use to deliver your license and provide support.
License validation: the app periodically validates your license key. These requests carry the key, plan, and a machine identifier — never tenant data.
Email you send us: if you write to us, we keep the correspondence to handle your request.

What we don't do

No analytics or tracking cookies on this website.
No telemetry in the application beyond license validation.
No selling or sharing of personal data with third parties for marketing.

Retention and your rights

We keep purchase and support records as long as needed for the customer relationship and legal obligations (such as bookkeeping). Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in Sweden, IMY).
