Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. What Snoka is

Snoka is a command-line application that scans a Google Workspace tenant you administer for security exposures and produces reports. It runs locally on your own machine. These terms govern your download and use of Snoka and any paid subscription to it.

2. License

Snoka is licensed, not sold. With a valid subscription, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Snoka for the number of domains (tenants) your plan covers. The free tier may be used without charge for the features it includes. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense Snoka, remove license enforcement, or use it to build a competing service.

3. Authorization

You may only scan Google Workspace tenants you are authorized to administer, or for which the administrator has engaged you (for example, as a managed service provider). You are responsible for complying with Google's terms and with applicable law in your use of Snoka.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed as subscriptions through our merchant of record, Polar, which handles payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access to paid features continues to the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per our refund policy.

5. Your data

Snoka runs on your machine. Your tenant's data — users, files, findings, reports — is processed locally and is never transmitted to us. See the privacy policy for the little we do process.

6. Remediation features

Snoka's remediation features can remove access (for example, file shares or group members) in your tenant, only after explicit per-action confirmation, and keep an undo log. You remain responsible for changes you confirm. Review each action before approving it.

7. Warranty disclaimer

Snoka is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. A scan reflects the state visible to Google's APIs at the moment it runs; we do not warrant that Snoka will find every exposure or that a clean report means your tenant is secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Snoka is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or lost profits.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Questions: contact@snoka.app.
